Artist-Author trade Reference

Hey, this is a reference pic for ashanta, who I am doing an artist author trade with :D So cheers to her! The main reason I requested Caelum is that novie and I have such a hard time visualising him. He keeps on changing, so you can see many older pics of him with shaggy hair as oppessed to the more military crop look thats started creeping in. I like to reference him to Hugh Jackman, as it gives him a bit more of a 'manly feel' then the anime-esque waif he started off as.

I am also putting up Caelum's bio so she has a bit of an idea of who this guy is. These are more notes for myself, so there are things in there that might not make sense.

Caelum
Appearance: Tall, well built. Angular face with hooded, gray colored eyes and thin mouth. Dusty blond hair cropped short. Rigid and tense in his bearing.
Personality: Cold and withdrawn. Quiet disdainful and aloof to most people, and full of pent up anger. Incredibly single minded and determined. Is unafraid of using people for his own ends. Doesn’t like being compared to his brother. Also quiet insecure on the inside too from childhood.
Quote: ‘What he did, sending men down there…sending me down there…I can never forgive him for that.’
‘Do not compare me to him!’
‘Why are you still here?’
Character Development: Through the influence of Corel, he becomes less self-centered. Opens up, if only to her.
Brief History: Lived in the shadow of his father and older brother. Went to the same private school as Jack, but was always aloof. Pursued a career in the army where he befriends Jack, they become something of a team. Objects to human experimentation and comes at odds with his brothers tactics. Is publicly ‘executed’ for attacking his brother. Spent three years as an experiment alongside Jack, before escaping, leaving his friend behind.
Plot Relevance: Main mover and shaker. He is the one man who has the drive to take on Domaig, even if it’s purely for personal motive.
Random Facts: Conceals Jacks survival from Corel. His experimentation included being injected with Phantasm essence. For some reason, he reacted more favorably to it, giving him higher endurance.

Sckry here, back in Aus and back at uni. Novie on the other hand is still running around Scotland. Last i heard she had liver problems.....hmmm....

In other news, I'm off to meet novie in England for a couple of weeks, so you probably won't hear from either of us for a couple of weeks. But hey.
